Taste without the jargon
Discover your taste
Most people know whether they like a coffee. Fewer people get the chance to understand why.
In this tasting, you’ll explore four Colombian specialty coffees — noticing aroma, sweetness, acidity, body, aftertaste, and the little surprises that make one cup feel more like you than another.
You don’t need the “right” vocabulary. You don’t need to know processing methods, varieties, or brewing theory. We’ll guide the experience gently, so you can compare, ask questions, and discover what your own taste is telling you.

A guided sequence
How the tasting works
You’ll taste four Colombian specialty coffees, each chosen to show a different expression of coffee.
Rather than serving everything at once, we brew and present the coffees one by one. This gives each cup its own moment — time to smell it, taste it, try the pairing, notice what changes, and talk about what you perceive before moving to the next coffee.
We brew each coffee live, so you can see how the cup is prepared and how small brewing choices shape the experience. Along the way, we use simple sensory anchors — small pairings like chocolate, fruit, or other familiar flavors — to help you notice what is already in the cup.
The tasting is guided, but relaxed. We’ll move together through aroma, flavor, texture, and aftertaste, with space for questions, conversation, and your own impressions.
Expect a small-group experience of around 60–90 minutes.

Four expressions, one origin
What you’ll taste
For our first edition, we begin with Colombia because it is home for us — and because Colombian specialty coffee can be far more diverse than many people expect.
You’ll taste four Colombian specialty coffees chosen for contrast. The exact lineup may change depending on freshness, availability, and the coffees we are most excited to share.
Rather than focusing on labels, scores, or technical details, we guide you through different expressions of coffee: comforting, fruit-forward, expressive, delicate, surprising, or aromatic.
Each coffee is selected to help you notice something different — aroma, sweetness, acidity, texture, aftertaste, or the way a cup changes as it cools.

Your hosts
Hosted by Sergio & Angela
We’re Sergio and Angela — a Colombian couple rooted in Luxembourg.
For us, coffee has always been more than a drink. It is memory, conversation, curiosity, and a way to connect with people across places and cultures.
Over time, our own coffee journey has moved from simply enjoying good cups to exploring origin, processing, brewing, and the small choices that change what you taste. These tastings are our way of sharing that discovery with others.
We choose coffees we are genuinely excited to serve, brew them with care, and guide the experience in a way that feels relaxed, personal, and never intimidating.
You don’t need to arrive with coffee knowledge — only curiosity.
Rooted in one place, open to the world
Why Colombia first
Colombia is where our coffee story begins.
It is home, memory, and part of who we are. But it is also one of the most exciting places to discover how diverse coffee can be — not only chocolatey and familiar, but also fruity, floral, delicate, funky, elegant, and surprising.
For this first edition, we want to share that range through coffees that feel meaningfully different from one another. Each cup is a small window into a producer, a process, a place, and a way of tasting.
We begin in Colombia because it is close to us. We keep exploring because coffee is much bigger than one origin.

Frequently asked questions
A few practical details before the first dates are announced.
Do I need to know about specialty coffee?
No. The tasting is designed for curious coffee drinkers, not experts. We’ll guide you through each cup in a relaxed way, and you can use your own words to describe what you notice.
What will we taste?
For the first edition, we’ll taste four Colombian specialty coffees chosen for contrast — from more familiar and comforting profiles to fruit-forward, expressive, and delicate cups.
The exact lineup may evolve as we continue selecting coffees we’re proud to serve.
Are the coffees served all at once?
No. We brew and present the coffees one by one. This gives each cup its own moment, with time to smell, taste, try the pairing, discuss what you notice, and then move to the next coffee.
How much coffee will I drink?
The coffees are served in tasting portions. You do not need to finish every cup.
Is there caffeine?
Yes. The first edition uses caffeinated coffees. Because the coffees are served in tasting portions, the experience is designed for tasting rather than drinking four full cups.
We are actively looking for decaf coffees we can fully stand behind, but we are not offering a decaf version yet.
Where will the tastings take place?
The first tastings will take place around Beggen, Ville de Luxembourg, either in an intimate private setting or with a local partner venue. Exact details will be shared before confirmation.
How long does the tasting last?
Around 60–90 minutes.
How much does it cost?
The expected price is around €60 per person for a guided tasting of four Colombian specialty coffees, brewed live and served with small pairing anchors.
Is joining the list a booking?
No. Joining the list is not a paid booking yet. You’ll get early access when the first dates open, before they are announced more widely.
Can I come alone?
Yes. Open small-group tastings are designed for people joining individually, as a couple, or with friends.
Can I request a private tasting?
Yes. Private group tastings are possible for small groups. For the first version, we expect private groups to work best for 4–8 people.
What languages are available?
Tastings are currently offered in English and Spanish. We’re also happy to answer simple questions in French.
Will there be food?
We use small sensory pairings — such as chocolate, fruit, or other familiar flavors — to help you notice aromas and flavors in the coffee. They are not meant to replace a meal.
If you have allergies or dietary restrictions, please tell us before the tasting.
